The Grammy Awards took place at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles last night, with Ed Sheeran, Kendrick Lamar, Muse, Taylor Swift and David Bowie all among the winners. 

Muse took home the gong for Best Rock Album, while Kendrick took home an impressive five out of 11 nominations - including Best Rap Album for To Pimp A Butterfly. Elsewhere, Taylor Swift's 1989 won Best Pop Album and Best Pop Vocal Album, as well as Best Music Video for 'Bad Blood'.

The Weeknd picked up Best Urban Contemporary Album for Beauty Behind The Madness, while Ed Sheeran won Song Of The Year for 'Thinking Out Loud'. Maria Schneider won the Grammy for Best Arrangement, Instruments and Vocals for her contributions to David Bowie’s 'Sue (Or In A Season Of Crime)'.
