Bastille have debuted a new song called ‘The Currents’ during their set at Austria’s Snowbombing festival. Check it out below.

The set Bastille played was on The Forest Party Stage last night (7 April). The band also played other new song. ‘Snake’ which they released last year.

Before they played, frontman, Dan Smith said: "I hope you like it. It's a bit weird.” As you can see in the video below the song was taken to quite well. Though it does sound different to their usually light-hearted pop sound that was featured on their debut, Bad Blood.

In a video announcing that new material is on its way, Dan of Bastille admitted to fans, “I've heard lots of bands talking about making their 'difficult' second album, but we never thought that far ahead. I guess, until recently, we haven't had much time to think about it."

The band have constantly been releasing material from their forthcoming album. Another track called, ‘Hangin’ was released in September of 2015. Dan Smith also admitted in an interview with Billboard that he just wants Bastille’s new album to be, ‘Fucking interesting’.
