Biffy Clyro are premiering the video for new single, 'Wolves of Winter' on Facebook right now.
The band recently announced the release date for their next album, Elipses. It'll be out on 8 July. 'Wolves of Winter' is the lead single, and the video features a startling amount of animation focusing on a dark theme throughout.
Whilst the video strays away from the band's normal real-life themes, the music itself isn't a million miles away from the Biffy that we all know and love. Featuring huge riffs, and arena-rock drums, the band have gotten louder if anything.

Chris Boyle was the director of the video, who was recently awarded with a VMA for his work with Dizzee Rascal. Interestingly, Boyle has recently left his work in music videos, to go work on the Call of Duty franchise.
Boyle has said of the track, "We decided there was only one thing for it – a psychedelic shape-shifting journey of woman and wolf that blasts from the beginning of time to the distant future.”
The band's frontman, Simon Neil, has said: “’Wolves of Winter’ is about us being wolves on a patch and if you come onto that patch, we’ll tear you limb-from-limb.”
Biffy Clyro recently announced their biggest show to date in Glasgow's Bellahouston Park on 27 August, inbetween their headline performances at Reading and Leeds Festivals. You can get tickets and more information here.
