Internet phenomenon DJ Khaled has joined Beyonce’s forthcoming Formation world tour.
The producer and DJ has released eight albums over the course of his nearly 20-year career, but he's gained newfound fame over the past year or so, thanks to his popularity on Snapchat.
Now, he’s set to open for Beyonce on the North American leg of her world tour. "Today I proudly announce a major milestone in my career,” he wrote on Instagram. "Today’s announcement is a major accomplishment in my life. In other words it's a major achievement alert!!!! I am proud to announce that I, DJ Khaled will be on tour with the icon, Beyoncé!!!!!”
It’s probably fair to say that he’s excited.
Sadly, if you’re going to Beyonce’s UK dates, you won’t have the pleasure of seeing DJ Khaled open for her.
