Even more names confirmed for Glastonbury

Now the Field Of Avalon confirm their line-up

Glastonbury festival 2016 may be just around the corner, but it continues to grow ever larger - with loads of huge names now confirmed for the line-up for the Field Of Avalon. 

Already announced are the likes of Muse, Coldplay, Adele, LCD Soundsystem, PJ Harvey, Sigur Ros, New Order, The 1975, The Last Shadow Puppets, Grimes and many more, but now the legendary and enchanted corner of the Field Of Avalon reveals a pretty stellar bill.  

Confirmed for Avalon’s main stage big top are Beans on Toast, Ben Miller Band, Blackberry Smoke, Corinne Bailey Rae, Edward II, Foy Vance, Hobo Jones & The Junkyard Dogs, Holy Moly & the Crackers, Joanne Shaw Taylor, King Eider, KT Tunstall, Larkin Poe, Mitch Benn, Newton Faulkner, Police Dog Hogan, Rob Heron and the Tea Pad Orchestra, Seafret, Show of Hands, The Destroyers, The Drystones, The Elephant Sessions, The Feeling, This Is The Kit, Treacherous Orchestra, Turin Brakes, and Will Young.

The 24 hour vegetarian café will be home to 3 Daft Monkeys, Akasha, Andrew Maxwell Morris, Back Before Breakfast, Ben Russell and The Charmers, Captain Cactus & The Screaming Harlots, Dana Immanuel, The Drystones, Fat 45, Flipron, Gecko, Hobo Jones & The Junkyard Dogs, Hodmadoddery, Holy Moly & the Crackers, India Electric Co., JS & The Lockerbillies, Keston Cobblers Club, King Eider, Lekan Babalola, LEKIDDO - Lord of The Lobsters!, Little Hours, The New Forbidden, Malojian, Martin Creed, Matuki, Mik Artistik's Ego Trip, Orla Gartland, RSVP, The Sea Kings, Show of Hands, Sound of the Sirens, Stella Martyr, Tell Tale Tusk, The Buffalo Skinners, The Curious Little Big Band, The Listening Device, The Schmoozenbergs, The Waffle Machine Orchestra, Thirsty Jenny, Athene Roberts & Tim Ashton, The Vodka Jellies Karaoke Band, and World Government.

Meanwhile, Glasto boss Emily Eavis this week revealed that the festival would not be 'moving location' in 2018 - but that an entirely separate event would be taking place. She also opened up about plans for the festival to pay tribute to David Bowie and Prince.

Glastonbury Festival 2016 takes place from 22-26 June at Worthy Farm in Somerset.
