The 1975 have announced details of the biggest show of their career, as 'The Sound' stars are set for The O2 Arena in London. Pre-sale tickets are on sale now and tickets will be available here.
Last week saw the band tease fans with news of massive shows around the world, but kept the locations a secret.
After their magnificent show at Brixton Academy earlier this year, it has now been revealed that 'City' and 'Somebody Else' chart-toppers will be performing at The O2 in London on Friday 16 December. Pre-sale tickets are on sale now before being on general sale from 9am on Friday 10 June and will be available here.
"The show will form part of a series of concerts that will be toured worldwide, with expanded visuals and a brand new set list including songs that have never been played live," reads a statement. "The 1975’s constantly evolving performance will fuse art and technology to create a unique live experience."
This comes after frontman Matt Healy made headlines for saying that dating Taylor Swift would have been a 'demasculinating' experience, and taking aim at the Conservative Government for appropriating a very similar logo to theirs for their EU referendum campaign.
It's been a runaway year of success for The 1975, after topping the charts with their massive second album, I Like It When You Sleep For You Are So Beautiful Yet Unaware Of It.
Reviewing the record, we hailed it as 'a trojan horse filled with nuances and surprising sounds'.
"The truth is, that these cuts act as a trojan horse to unload an album filled with nuances and idiosyncrasies. I Like It When You Sleep, For You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware Of It is more than pop.
"The eclecticism of this band is nothing short of remarkable. I Like It When You Sleep is a record that owes as much to M83 as it does Madonna. In a world of beige pop, we welcome this flourish of colour. Exceeding the national average, excelling in pop and smashing your expectations - accept nothing less from The 1975."
