Barcelona and Brazil striker Neymar is set to release his first ever song on Wednesday.

The world class footballer, who has earned deserved comparisons to Pele as he's a genius with the ball at his feet, took to Twitter to say he'll be putting out his first song on Facebook.

His Twitter reveal to his 24.9 million followers reads: “This Wednesday I begin my music career and I’m going to release my first song on Facebook. We will have ‘Neymusico’. Share it.”

In terms of what style of music he'll release, Bleacher Report claim that he's a fan of Brazilian music. Apparantly he was caught dancing to Michel Telo's hit 'Ai Se Eu Te Pego' in Santo's locker room singing Luan Santana's 'Te Esperando'. He has also interviewed Thiaguinho from the band Exaltasamba. Neymar is also known to have been taken piano classes.

In terms of character, ESPN claims that the gold winning Olympian is famed for being selfish and indulging in some of footballs dark arts - perfect characteristic for a provocative frontman.

Well, when his knees eventually give in this multi-talented individual, with any luck will have music to keep him going. If he's no good then there's always coaching or TV punditry.
