The Weeknd, writer of the global hit 'The Hills', has announced his Starboy tour and plans to hit England and Glasgow in March 2017.
The 26-year-old Canadian R&B singer, who has a net worth of $30 million, is touring songs from his forthcoming album, Starboy as well hits from his first two albums. This third album is set for release on 25 November, and features the hit album title track he did with Daft Punk that topped the charts in seven countries. The full tracklisting has yet to be unveiled.

The singer who played his first ever London show in 2012 at The Wilton Music Hall, has had an extraordinary career thus far and as his performance on Jools Holland shows, he can truly deliver an excellent live set. Tickets for these arena shows will inevitably be hot property.
The UK arena dates announced come after a thorugh run around northern continental Europe. After the UK the band hit South America, the USA, and Canada. The tour will last the majority of 2017.
Elsewhere, Liam Layne of One Direction released a snippet of his solo material yesterday and tagged producers Danny Boy Styles and Ben Billions, both of whom have worked with The Weeknd.
Liam Payne, it seems, can't contain his excitement and recorded the clip on his phone and posted it to Instagram. The material is very similar to that of The Weeknd, and doesn't hint at anything groundbreaking or original coming out. Fans, however, have completely fallen for the singer's solo stuff which is set to be released via Capitol records. The short clip has received nearly a million views in just a weekend. Horan is another member of One Direction to ahve ditched Simon Cowell for a solo career.
