Lil Wayne has featured on ABC's Nightline for an interview, in which a clip shows the rapper dismissing the Black Lives Matter movement.

Wayne, who is a grammy winning rapper, who has also featured on the Billboard 100 more times than Elvis had some choice words to say on the matter.

The clip that was released shows the rapper being pressed on what he thought on the matter, saying: “What is it? What does it mean?”

When asked whether he feels a connection to the movement, Wayne rather brashfully stated: "I don't feel connected to a damn thing that ain't got nothin' to do with me."

Wayne then went on to explain why in a way that only he could see fit: “I’m a young black rich mother****er. If that don’t let you know that America understand."

This will come as something as a surprise for activists, and people who are supporting the movement.

In only August, Lil Wayne led a crowd of his fans in a Black Lives Matter chant, that showed some support for the movement.

Though, only a month later, Wayne told Fox Sports 1's Undisputed, that there is no such thing as racism.

So unsurprisingly the interview clip shows Wayne completely hell bent on the idea that the movement is of less importance than his personal account.
