Quirky London punk outfit HMLTD have unveiled the downright bat shit crazy video for their new single 'To The Door'. Check out the clip below.
The six-piece from south of the river worked once again with artist and director Jenkin van Zyl, who also put together the band's visuals for previous single 'Stained'.
Mirroring their chaotic live shows, the clip marries a 70s glam rock aesthetic with punk and "sci-fi western" imagery. Channeling Bowie, frontman Henry Spychalski appears with the band in front of a low-budget cowboy movie set, before things begin to take a twist towards the sinister.
As the song's raw punk angst transforms into a trippy electronic outro, Spycalski takes a shot to the head before blood is wiped from his face.
The release is described as "an audio-visual bucking bronco ride of fantasy and myth, sci-fi and the terrestrial, savagery and élan, the unattainable and the tactile, coming together for a mesmerising assault on the senses."
Meanwhile, HMLTD are set to play a sold out show at London's 100 Club next week, before heading out on a full UK tour. The band will also hit the festivals, with appearances scheduled for The Great Escape in Brighton, Live At Leeds and End Of The Road.
