In one of the unlikelier festival rumours you’ll read this year, actor Kiefer Sutherland is being tipped to play Glastonbury 2017.
The – good lord – 50-year-old, best known for playing Jack Bauer in TV series 24, has launched a country music career since the show’s run ended (not counting the hilariously dreadful reboot 24 Legacy) and is on tour this spring and summer and there is a hole in his calendar on 25 June, the festival’s final day.
Sutherland will be playing a series of dates in the UK around Glastonbury, in Birmingham, Bristol, Manchester, London and Glasgow. He is also listed as ‘rumoured’ for an unknown day on efestivals.
Earlier this month, Sutherland released the video for his new single, ‘I’ll Do Anything’. Watch the video below and be as surprised as the rest of us that it’s not actually that bad.
