Following the announcement of a ‘Best of..’ compilation to mark the apex of the band’s 21 year recording career a new single has now emerged for us to hear.

'Veins' is still very much within the trademark Feeder sound but with a more melancholic and introspective songwriting style. Reflecting on a troubled England Nicholas sings "it’s time to change..it’s running through our veins."

Candidly he remarks of the song "It’s about life and the importance of democracy, and looking to the future. With all that’s happening in the world, it feels even more relevant now than when I wrote it.”

The track is the second single to be released from upcoming Arrows after last month’s 'Figure You Out'. Both Arrows and The Best of Feeder will be released on 29 September as the band wanted the new material to be brought out along side their ‘definitive’ retrospective. This is a double-whammy for Feeder fans out there. The band admits this was an intentional move, wanting to make it feel ‘more special’ for their fanbase upon the release.

The band will also play a homecoming show on Friday 25 August at Chepstow Races.

Since rising to fame in 1996 after their debut album Swim the band have released an astonishing amount of music including 41 E.P’s and singles (20 of them in the top 40) and nine studio albums. Feeder are still here. The double release marking for them the fact they are still relevant as a recording and touring band.
