Benjamin Booker has shared a new video for 'Overtime', filmed live at the Columbus Theatre in Providence, Rhode Island. A smoother, poppier cut of the track than the decidedly grittier turn on Booker’s latest album Witness, the video demonstrates the smooth, effortless abilities as a performer that have seen a meteoric rise for the Virginia-born singer songwriter of late.

Earlier this summer, Gigwise caught up with Booker for a frank interview. He told us of how rapid success and a hedonistic touring lifestyle took its toll on his physical and mental health, how he rediscovered true happiness, and how these experiences shaped the writing of his stellar second album.

“It made me realise I had to be honest with myself about who I was as a person I think the hardest thing for people is to realise their own problems and come to terms with those things, as you can’t change if you don’t look at them. I wrote a bullet-point list of the things I wanted to change. These bullet points became the basis for all the songs on the new album,” he said.

With Witness seeing critical acclaim and commercial success, Booker is supporting it in the shape of an extensive European tour, including UK shows. All the dates are below.
