The Kinks ‘Pye’ back-catalogue is to be made available to download digitally for the first time.
Including classic hits such as, ‘You Really Got me,’ ‘Sunny Afternoon,’ and ‘Lola,’ the release of the hits library coincides with the 40th anniversary of the Kinks' smash hit, ‘Waterloo Sunset,’ which is also available as part of the catalogue.
The Pye back-catalogue includes all the bands classic albums, including, ‘Something Else’ and ‘The Kinks Are The Village Green Preservation Society.’
A limited edition of ‘Waterloo Sunset’ will also be released to commemorate the 40th anniversary. The facsimilie edition of the original Waterloo Sunset 7", which also includes the b-side, ‘Act Nice And Gentle,’ will be limited to 1,000 copies.
The bands ‘French EP’ will also be released on limited CD facsmilie.
All versions will be available from May 28th.
