More about:

Thom Yorke has been announced as a further support act for Massive Attack at All Points East this May. The Radiohead frontman will play ahead of the huge Bristolian dance troupe on the Bank Holiday Sunday.

With a longstanding friendship we assume can only be forged through possessing preternatural musical genius, Thom Yorke and Massive Attack equal a pretty epic line-up.

Unlike his current Tomorrow's Modern Boxes tour, Yorke will appear solo on stage at Victoria Park - absent even of Nigel Godrich and visual artist Tarik Barr.

All Points East promise a "unique acoustic solo performance" to include renditions of songs from Radiohead's back catalogue in a "never-before-seen-way".

The bill - which already also includes Nils Frahm and Neneh Cherry - also adds Alfa Mist and Jacques Greene this morning.

The Bank Holiday Sunday will also see performances from Young Fathers, Skinny Pelembe, Fatoumata Diawara, Gaika and Hotel Lux.
