The show must go on...in July, anyway

Festivals scheduled for later on in the summer continue to plan full throttle for their events. Birmingham's Mostly Jazz, Funk & Soul Festival is no different, and this morning they revealed their excellent line-up alongside news that they will reschedule for later in the summer if Covid-19 continues apace into July.

Neneh Cherry and Lianne La Havas will headline the event, with The Wailers and Martha Reeves & The Vandellas ticking the veteran boxes.

There will also be a DJ sets from Maribou State and an appearance from Craig Charles.

Other names added today include Kokoroko, The Fatback Band, Nightmares on Wax and Norman Jay.

Set in the Birmingham suburb of Moseley, Mostly Jazz Funk & Soul have announced a Covid-19 strategy today, announcing that as it stands, the event will still take place this July. They also confirm that the event will be moved to a later date in the summer should the situation persist.

Mostly Jazz Funk & Soul Festival will take place in Moseley from 10-12 July 2020. Ticket information can be found here
