Glass Animals have finally announced their third full-length after a lengthy hiatus. Dreamland was announced today along with a gorgeous new title track. Though the electronic group have released a single or two in the last 6 months, it's been four years since the Mercury-nominated How To Be A Human Being.

The long break is largely down to the terrible accident that band drummer Joe Seaward suffered in 2018 - the near-death experience is just one theme of new album Dreamland.

Introducing the new project, Glass Animals have chosen a soothing, chiming electronic soundscape rather than a pulsating banger. With promises of the latter to arrive, 'Dreamland' is a welcome and delightful return from Dave Bayley and cohorts.

If you'll believe it, the surreal video for this track was filmed on Zoom and is set in Bayley's home.

On the project, the frontman said: "Each line asks a question that’s explored in a later song. It’s not a banging single (the next one we’ll drop slaps!) but the words here could be considered a table of contents for the album as a whole...I put every ounce of my soul into this album. It’s the most ambitious and challenging thing we’ve done by a distance."

Dreamland arrives 10 July via Polydor.
