More about:

Metronomy have released a very Microsoft Windows video for their cut 'The Light' which appeared on last year's stereo soundscape Metronomy Forever. Pixelated to the max, the visuals pair well with the easy dream of 'The Light's electronic indie.

Glitchy computer dreams loop around lazy percussion and relaxing vocals. 'The Light' is a chill-out focal point of Metronomy Forever with a rippling synth undercurrent that makes the pixelated blue skies of the accompanying video extremely apt.

The video was directed by Metronomy's own Joseph Mount:

Animated by visual artist Gabriel Rolim, the video comes amid a flurry of lockdown sessions released by the five-piece. Every Monday for the last two months, Metronomy have brought fans together with a series of live shows, Q&A's, house parties and other cool lockdown stuff.
