Newcomer Average Joe trundells his way through the video for new track ‘Promo’, a bumbling after-party monologue.

The musicians drips the character of the cocky kid you can’t help but like. Drawing at a trusty cigarette throughout, Joe’s persona swaggers into a teetering immersion of trouble, pursuing a bespoke and transformative take on the art of spoken word. Average Joe bigs up the ego in the video for ‘Promo’, showcasing the drunken hotel lock-in that increasingly gets beyond control. Watch below:

Self-describing as “an invocation of the egoic spectres of rock and roll, dressed as a grandstanding anthem to pop vanity”, Average Joe is drawn towards his influences shadowing the lyrical methods of Father John Misty, Sleaford Mods and the spirit of Mike Skinner in a slick ode to life on tour.
