LANY continue their campaign of cheesy vulnerability on brand new acoustic pop song 'If This is the Last Time'. Frontman Paul Klein addresses his mum and dad on the second single from forthcoming album Mama's Boy.

Like its predecessor 'Good Guys', LANY target the tweens with their new cut. Themes of family and memories don't explore anything groundbreaking or new, though that gentle finger-picked acoustic guitar is at least a calming balm to the ears.

"Let's do the things we always do/or maybe we try something brand new" Klein sings on a chorus that considers the swift onward march of time and the inevitability of death.

An army of fans are delighting at the news of a new LANY album: the trio's first since 2018's Malibu Nights.

'If this is the Last Time', Klein says "was initially inspired by the inevitable truth that one day my parents aren’t gonna be here anymore... that picking up the phone and calling my mom is actually a luxury that i won’t always have."

And want to know something else extra juicy? "There was only one person in the world I cared about hearing Malibu Nights...Now, there’s not one person in the world I don’t want to hear Mama’s Boy.”
