More about: Dylan Cartlidge
Dylan Cartlidge has shared a fab new single today in the form of 'Cheerleader' - a track that's totally Outkast in its upbeat positivity. It's part of a forthcoming EP Yellow Brick Road, out next month.
Infectious, addictive and guaranteed to make you want to nod along - if not get up from your desk and do a full-on dance - 'Cheerleader' is Cartlidge's second single this summer. It follows his comeback single 'Yellow Brick Road', which was big on the radio in the grip of lockdown.
Cartlidge has a firm grip on what makes an impossible-to-dislike song - and he proves it again on the sunny, funky 'Cheerleader'. Bet you'll love it:
On the new single Dylan said: “ultimately, it’s about not conforming to stereotypes and being your own Cheerleader, one that’s always rooting for your own unique flavour & individuality."
Cartlidge hails from the North East of England, and holds a life motto of "Hppe Above Adversity". What's not to love?
Yellow Brick Road EP is out 14 August via Glassnote Music.
