Gia Ford has shared a mellow, gentle and gorgeous ballad today. 'This Town' is a piano-led piece written alongside Lapsley and joined by a scintillating video shot with partner Melanie Lemon.

Gia Ford really lets her vocals shine on 'This Town', which is the most stripped-back piece she's ever released. A ruminative, hopeful pop song, it proves that Ford is no one-trick pony.

Ford elaborated: "It came from a personal place, unlike many of my maybe fictional songs, so it feels of its own little world. I feel quite vulnerable releasing it actually. It kind of also informs the new stuff that’ll follow in the new year - more from the heart, more honest. Marks the start of a new era.”
