Mark your calendars for 25 September: we’ve got a brand-new festival to celebrate the return of live music, brought to you by none other than slowthai.

Featuring artists like beabadoobee, Pa Salieu and IDLES, slowthai curated this festival as a belated celebration of his latest album TYRON. He said:

"Happyland with happy folk. The place where we can laugh and joke. The place you can be yourself without judgment, expectations and impressions of someone else. The space from the shackles of the everyday. The mountain where we climb to run away. Imagine what you’ve never had when you come to Happyland - you will never be sad.”

Boasting big names, rising stars and promising newcomers, slowthai is bringing the party to his hometown for a long-awaited celebration of all things live. Fellow performer Pa Salieu had this to say about the new festival:

“Mad love to my brother slowthai for having me be a part of his debut festival Happyland, gonna bring the energies for real. Midlands stand up!”

Tickets can be purchased here from 14 May.
