More about:

Less than a year after the release of their critically acclaimed album Sex, Death & The Infinite Void, Creeper have announced its follow up EP, American Noir, set for release 30 July on Roadrunner Records.

It follows on from the tale of Annabelle and Roe after Roe’s death at the end of the album, with American Noir acting as requiem of sorts.

Opening up with a piano intro to die for, lead single ‘Midnight’ sees Will Gould and Hannah Greenwood share vocals like on ‘Four Years Ago’. With the massive choruses that Creeper never fail to deliver, ‘Midnight’ is a theatrical showstopper that might just be one of their greatest songs.

Frontman Will offers more details on the surprise EP:

“This new EP is comprised of material we’d written over the course of the last album. Lavish and tragic, it tells the story of the days following the death of our protagonist Roe. Beginning with ‘Midnight’ you’ll find Hannah and I experimenting with our voices together like never before.”

American Noir is available for pre-order now.
