Frank Carter and The Rattlesnakes are back with a brand-new single featuring electro-punk sensation Lynks. ‘Go Get A Tattoo’ is taken from their highly anticipated upcoming album Sticky, which is arriving 15 October.

‘Go Get A Tattoo’ is all the evidence you need of Frank Carter and The Rattlesnake’s rave reviews as one of the best acts at this year’s Download Pilot. The song is a raw punk party for life getting back to normal, a celebration of getting back to the things we love. Lynks is a fabulous addition to the song, matching the band’s high energy. The song is a particularly personal one, based on Carter’s experience of closing his own tattoo parlour because of lockdown:

“Irreverent is a good word for that song,” he says. “I'd worked my entire life to get to the point of getting a shop, and I’d finally achieved it, and I couldn’t even open the doors. So yes, when this is over, I need everyone to come and get a tattoo.”

Lynks, on the other hand, has a slightly different experience with the song: “It is bloody irreverent actually. I mean I’m literally here singing about tattoos with not a single one on my body. Am I a poser? Probably. But the song still bangs”

Sticky arrives 15 October. See Frank Carter and The Rattlesnakes on tour:
