More about:

Shelf Lives continue to sound quite a lot like the natural successors to Le Tigre with their new single 'Shock Horror'. It's another part of forthcoming debut mini-album Yes, Offence.

In the pedigree of riot grrrl and electro-rock, 'Shock Horror' even sounds a little like 'Boys Wanna Be Her' by Peaches in its electric shock of a guitar riff. This one has lyrics all about a nightmare person:

“Shock Horror is an homage to our worst nightmare of a human. An amalgamation of specific traits that are so transparent yet irresistible, in a way," Shelf Lives said.

Yes, Offence Tracklist:

1. Shelf Life
2. I Don't Like Me You
3. Shock Horror
4. Mark Twain
5. Call Me
6. I Don't Think I'll Go Out Today
7. Fighting That Bitch
8. She Gon' Kill Ya

Yes, Offence arrives 28 April via Not Sorry Mom Records.
