More about:

The year was 1977 and the Sex Pistols took to the Thames to cause some chaos on the Queen’s Jubilee. Flash forward to 2020, the spirit lives on in Liam Gallagher’s lockdown live stream from a boat on the river. Bringing all his attitude and songs new and old, his lockdown live stream was captured for a new live album, set for release on 27th May.

Doubling down on a single release day, the new live album Down By The River Thames shares a release day with the upcoming album C’Mon You Know. Being released as a bundle on CDs and vinyl, I guess this is Liam’s chart secret weapon…

Featuring massive tracks like from his solo projects as well as everyone's favourite Oasis tracks, Liam’s live stream was a huge moment in music during lockdown.

Talking of the album Liam said: “So here it is, the gig they said we could never pull off! As we were in lockdown, bored and depressed, rock ‘n’ roll came to save the day once again. It was a top night and a top gig and it’s captured here on record for you to all enjoy.”
