Returning with the second track from their new era, Interpol are wrapping up a two-part short film with Something Changed. Offering up their own Adam and Eve inspired story complete with Paul Banks dressed as a cop, the visuals are a must-watch.

Following on from last weeks announcement of the new album ‘The Other Side Of Make-Believe’. Something Changed is the sister track to Toni. Opening up the album with two woozy, dream-like tracks that see the famously gloomy band step into more surrealist territory, maybe they’re finally finding a silver lining.

Describing the vision behind the video, Paul Banks said: “In Something Changed, part 2 of our short film with Van Alpert, reality and reverie converge and our two lead characters find themselves in a kind of dream state - being pursued inexorably by an ominous figure (played by myself.) The lives of the three are intertwined in a nebula of fear, retribution, desire, and defiance. Who will receive their just deserts? Stay tuned and find out.”

‘The Other Side Of Make-Believe’ arrives 15 July.
