More about: All Better
Brighton band All Better have shared their latest single ‘Dramatics’ today, ahead of their debut album, How To Be Alone, which arrives next week (6 May) on Sugar-Free Records. They also have a busy touring schedule ahead, with a support slot for Buds. and a headline tour starting in June.
‘Dramatics’ has a nostalgic, nineties/noughties punk sound with a message of self-improvement that everyone can relate to today. It has some really dynamic guitars and huge energy, with a little pop goodness thrown in for good measure. Here’s what the band said about the single:
“’Dramatics’ is about the struggles of seeking to improve your life. It's one journey to identify the changes you want for yourself, but to actively try and become that change often invites even more struggle. As we observe our own failures and lapse into deeper self-loathing, it can feel futile, but sometimes just understanding that you hate where you are is ultimately the seed that will eventually take root, someday, somehow. The song is for anyone who is in that place now. Stay with yourself."
