More about: Blondie
Blondie have aired a 'lost' demo titled 'I Love You Honey, Give Me A Beer', a precursor to the Autoamerican track 'Go Through It'. The demo will appear alongside a myriad other uncovered and re-spotlighted Blondie tracks on the band's first ever authorised and comprehensive box-set Blondie: Against The Odds 1974-1982.

After decades gathering dust in Chris Stein's Woodstock barn, the material on Blondie: Against The Odds 1974-1982 will feature what is described as "five albums worth of outtakes and rarities".
Blondie's first definitive box set of their discography, Against The Odds will feature 124 tracks, including 36 previously unheard. There will also be extensive "volumes" of liner notes, track by track commentary, special ilustrations and a 128-page hard cover book alongside their first six albums Blondie, Plastic Letters, Parallel Lines, Eat To The Beat, Autoamerican and The Hunter.
'Moonlight Drive', a Doors cover and often bootlegged rarity, was also recently released in the lead-up to the box-set launch.
On the project, Debbie Harry said: "It really is a treat to see how far we have come when I listen to these early attempts to capture our ideas on relatively primitive equipment. Fortunately the essence of being in a band in the early 70's held some of the anti-social, counter culture energies of the groups that were the influencers of the 60's.
I am excited about this special collection. When I listen to these old tracks, it puts me there like I am a time traveler. As bad as it was sometimes, it was also equally as good. No regrets. More music.”
