Paris Texas, the L.A.-based duo who blindsided the industry with their mega debut single 'HEAVY METAL' in February of last year, have shared a brand new single. 'cyanide' is the first new music from the band since last year's Red Hand Akimbo EP.

A brief cut, 'cyanide' shows a lighter side of the band — at least sonically. With fuzzy guitar riffs and restrained drums, the single is a gentle reintroduction into Paris Texas' style, with added pop-punk sensibilities. When coupled with the dark take on cupid in the video, it feels as though the gentleness of this one might be lulling us into a false sense of security, preparing us for something heavy again...

Paris Texas will play All Points East in London's Victoria Park this August 19.
