Loyle Carner has just announced hugo, his third album arriving 21 October on EMI. To celebrate he’s released the new single ‘Georgetown’, out today.

He’ll be exploring “deeply personal” topics on hugo and looking at more political themes in what is described as “his most cathartic and ambitious record yet”. You can expect some collaborations on the new album too, with John Agard, JNR Williams, Olivia Dean, Wesley Joseph and Athian Akec all appearing on the tracklist.
Based on his last single ‘Hate’, which we said “kisses goodbye to the more mainstream, radio-leaning sound of his previous work as it licks with passion and anger”, we’re expecting big things.
