Arctic Monkeys have followed up their Reading and Leeds Festival appearances this Bank Holiday weekend with their first new music in four years. 'There'd Better Be A Mirrorball' is the first single taken from their forthcoming seventh album The Car.

We've been wondering what we'd get with new music, and the wait is over — though of course we can't rule out that the rest of the songs being dramatically different from this first sample. Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino is certainly still in the picture here, with mesmerising loops on anonymous synths carouseling behind Alex Turner's crooning.
