Announcing a huge open air concert happening on the 1st July 2023 at London’s Crystal Palace Park, Iggy Pop is bringing a Dog Day Afternoon to the city for one day only. With Blondie also gracing the lineup, you’d think that was big enough, wouldn’t you?

But no. Introducing Generation Sex, a supergroup made up of members of Sex Pistols and Generation X; Steve Jones, Paul Cook, Billy Idol and Tony James have started a band. Playing their first ever UK show at the event, it’s the sort you think you’ll want to be there for. Real historical stuff happening…

Talking about the get together, Steve Jones said: ‘Just every now and then we find time to get together with old pals from back in the day - purely just for the crack and to have fun. If it ain’t fun then we ain’t interested, life’s too short. And it’s a great bill with Iggy Pop and Blondie.”
