Latitude are early to the party with announcing their headliners but with every single artist added they continue turning more and more heads. Already taking to the stage are the likes of Pulp, Paolo Nutini, George Ezra and Black Midi, but now, also heading to the festival after 10-years away is Siouxsie.

It was announced recently that Siouxsie is going to be making her way to Suffolk to headline the BBC Sounds Stage. With powerful music, Siouxsie continues to be a defiant and uncompromising voice in the world of punk rock and fans are finally getting a chance to see her live after so long.

Commenting on the announcement, Latitude Director Melvin Been said, “what a privilege it is to welcome the iconic Siouxsie to the Latitude Festival,” before continuing, “Siouxsie has been an enduring trailblazer and her impact across musical culture is colossal.”

Looking back at Siouxsie’s career is truly astonishing so to have her take to the stage at Latitude is a massive move for the festival. Starting out in 1976 at the 100 Club Punk Festival and continuing to dominate the world of punk ever since, seeing her live in the summer will be something to remember for music fans from all over the country.
