Returning for 2023, Fräulein are getting their year going with new track ‘Pet’. Slowly crawling towards a massive climax, the Irish/Dutch duo have captured the feeling of the early months perfectly here.

An anthem for people pleasers everywhere, this grunge piece tackles the feelings of trying your best to stand up for yourself while craving approval. Rooted in a catchy riff and a rattling drum line, it’s anxious, infectious sound has us instantly hooked in.

Talking about the new track, the band said: ““The word ‘pet’ means a lot to me…I love it because it can be a term of endearment, but it can also be slightly patronizing. This theme fits nicely with the cyclical riff of the track, a kind of pattern that you can’t get out of”.
