David Bowie’s iconic Aladdin Sane album turns 50 this year and the Southbank Centre are prepping to celebrate. Announcing a huge celebration of the album and all the artwork around it, there will be 2 months of exhibitions, gigs and more!

With the centre point being a 2-month long art exhibition focussed on that iconic album cover and the 70s music and social/political scene of the UK, it kicks off April 2nd and runs to May 28th.
But beyond that, there’s a whole lineup to explore. The centre point is a full run through of the iconic album with Anna Calvi, Scissor Sisters’ Jake Shears, Roxanne Tataei, Tawiah, and Lynks join theNu Civilisation Orchestra taking to the stage. Elsewhere, club nights, parties, and talks will keep Bowie fans busy.
