London based trio headboy should be on your radar. Quickly gaining a big reputation on the live scene, thanks to their distinct sound and unique lyricism, they’ve finally put it all on tape. 

Announcing their debut EP with lead track ‘Cement’; it strays towards the post-punk camp but with a solid dose of old school indie to stop it being boring. With the full EP landing on June 9th, Was It What You Thought is a political story told by voices we should listen to. No more boring cis-male narratives, headboy weave the political with tales of friendship, love and loyalty. 

Proving themselves over their past 3 singles and capturing our intrigue at last year’s alt-escape in Brighton; i’d suggest getting to know them before they blow up.
