More about: Rosellas
Every now and then a song comes out which turns your head, not just in the sense of, “this is quite good,” but in a sense of, “oh, I could be listening to something big here,” and that’s exactly what you get with the newest single from Rosellas, ‘Come Alive’.
This Manchester quintet might just have what it takes to be the new break out rock n rollers in the UK, with a run of successful singles under their belt, they don’t show any sign of slowing down. ‘Come Alive’ is a distorted guitar packed, catchy and fun anthem, laced with everything that makes a track a classic, but giving a wide enough birth from that which has come before to stand out as something unique and offer massive replay value.
At Gigwise, we’re happy to premiere the new video for this single, a black and white number that complements not only the track but the band as a whole. There’s a coolness to it, a dark melancholy mixed with euphoria that represents how they perform live and the energy they are able to bring to every gig.
“We as a band think this video encapsulates the dramatic energy and ominous theme not only in ‘Come Alive,’ but the whole EP, ‘Somewhere Inbetween,’” they said, “we’re all proud of it and think it provides a perfect visual representation of the lyrical content in those five songs.”
There are plenty of opportunities to catch the band live over the summer as they are heading to a number of different festivals to provide their energy-infused sound to as many people as possible. You can catch them at Y Not? Festival, This Feeling By The Sea and Band on the Wall.
