And the list is in! Mercury Prize just announced their 2023 albums of the year shortlist, revealing who is in the running to take home the prize on September 7th.

Last year, Little Simz swept the prize in a stiff competition again Self Esteem, Wet Leg, Harry Styles, Sam Fender and more. Bookies struggled to pick a favourite amongst a stellar list. This year, the competition feels wide open again with no clear winner on the list. 

As always delivering on a mix of genres, including some chart toppers and some left field picks, here it is…
