The Horrors have been announced as the main support for the Arctic Monkeys on their forthcoming UK tour.

Faris Rotter and co will play all six sold out dates which take in London, Manchester and Aberdeen.

Before then they will spend time recording material for the follow up to their debut album ‘Strange House’ which was released in March of this year.

They will also travel to Mexico to play Manifest before heading to Minehead to appear at All Tomorrow’s Parties in December.

The dates with the Arctic Monkeys are:

London, Alexandra Palace – December 8/9
Manchester, Central – 11/12
Aberdeen, AECC – 14/15
