George Michael 'Enters Rehab' Following Prison Release

George Michael is believed to have admitted himself to rehab following his release from prison on Monday (October 11).

The former Wham! star was freed four weeks into an eight week sentence of drug driving.

He was seen outside his home early yesterday (October 12) morning, and told reporters: "I want to beat my drug addiction and lead a normal life."

Michael, who has been banned from driving, was then driven away accompanied by a chauffeur, reports The Sun.

Speaking on Monday, Michael vowed to “start again” following his release from prison.

He described the well wishes as “quite inspirational”, adding: "By the way, I've just thought of a really good idea for a song and it's got nothing to do with prison."

Michael was jailed last month after pleading guilty to possessing cannabis and driving under the influence of drugs.
