Ozzy Osbourne is set to be unveiled as the replacement judge for Cheryl Cole on The X Factor, according to reports.


Talks are ongoing to secure the 62-year-old's participation as Cole prepares to move to the US edition.

"Ozzy would be a controversial choice but he can really bring something different to the show,” a source told The Sun.

The former Black Sabbath star's wife Sharon has previously appeared as a judge on The X Factor.

Meanwhile, at a the weekend if was confirmed that Simon Cowell would not be appearing as a judge on the forthcoming series, but at he would be involved.
