Kaiser Chiefs have released their new album ‘The Future Is Medieval’ today (June 3) - and they are allowing fans to earn money from LP.

As part of an innovative new initiative available via kaiserchiefs.com, fans can compile their own album, create their own artwork and then sell their creation to friends.

A statement said: “The band's intention is to create a music experience that can be shared and enjoyed by all and at the same time revitalise and subvert the industry standard.”

Once fans have created an album of ten tracks, fans are then given a unique webpage and tools to promote the album with the opportunity to earn £1 from every album purchased following a recommendation to a friend.

‘The Future Is Medieval’ is the follow up to 2008’s ‘Off With Their Heads’.

Kaiser Chiefs will play London’s Electric Ballroom on June 16.
