Festival-goers have been warned to expect heavy rain showers at this weekend's Glastonbury Festival, although the forecast will improve over the weekend.
Thousands of music fans have already begun arriving at Worthy Farm in Somerset ahead of the festival's official start on Friday (June 24).
A spokesperson for the Met Office told Gigwise festival-goers pitching their tents today (June 22) should be careful as it is already “wet and muddy underfoot, and quite breezy”.
Friday will be a largely dry but cloudy day, with occasional heavy showers through the evening.
The forecast for Saturday is similar, although temperatures are expected to rise to 20 degrees.
On Sunday (June 26), the spokesperson said “temperatures will be warmer with highs of 22 degrees with sunny spells but again remaining dry”.
Glastonbury will be headlined by U2, Coldplay and Beyonce. Other acts on the bill include Elbow, Tinie Tempah, Queens Of The Stone Age, Morrissey and DJ Shadow.
