North London charity The Friends Of Finsbury Park have filed an objection to Wireless' choice of location, saying the festival is "simply too big, too noisy, unmanageable, unsafe and prevents local people and residents from enjoying the park."

The festival is heading towards its 11th birthday at London's Finsbury Park this July, Calvin Harris, Chase & Status, and Kygo are set to headline, alongside the likes of The 1975, J. Cole, Boy Better Know, Future, Martin Garrix, Jess Glynne, A$AP Ferg and Action Bronson to the bill.

It's been met with several complications though. First, fans reacted negatively to the line-up announcement, comparing it unfavourably to last year's roster of acts, which included Nicki Minaj, Kendrick Lamar and Drake.

Now, the Jeremy Corbyn-backed charity Friends Of Finsbury Park has written a six-page objection to the festival being held at Finsbury Park. As NME reports, the open letter highlighted "major security failings at last year’s event with break-ins and attempted break-ins along the perimeter fencing which resulted in large and intimidating crowds of people disrupting public order in areas of the park outside the event itself, which Live Nation were unable to control."

The letter also cites concerns over "open drug dealing" and laughing gas use, both of which "can and do lead to very anti-social behaviour."

If that hasn't put you off, then Wireless Festival takes place at Finsbury Park, London from 8-10 July, 2016. Tickets are on sale from 9am on Friday 11 March, and will be available here
