The Coral, Blossoms and The Kooks are set to perform at a concert paying tribute to Viola Beach and their manager, who died in a car crash in Sweden last month.
The up-and-coming British band - which comprised Kris Leonard, River Reeves, Jack Dakin and Tomas Lowe (all of whom were in their 20s) - and their manager Craig Tarry died in February when the car they were driving crashed through a safety barrier and plummeted into a canal below.
Last week, quotes from Swedish Police revealed that the driver had no alcohol or drugs in his system, and seemed to suggest that he "acted deliberately." They've since clarified their comments though, insisting that they don't believe the drive intended to kill himself or the others.
In April, BBC Radio 1's Phil Taggart will host a concert in the band's memory in their hometown of Warrington. The Coral, Liam Fray, The Kooks, Blossoms, Eliza & The bear and Hidden Charms are set to perform.
The Viola Beach tribute gig takes place at Parr Hall in Warrington on 2 April. Tickets - the proceeds from which will be given to the band's families - have sold out.
