Rihanna has shared the artwork for her new single 'Diamonds' online. The artwork features, unsurprisingly, a lot of diamonds.
The black and white single cover shows the star rolling what appears to be a cigarette, but instead of tobacco, the rizla paper is stuffed full of precious stones.
'Diamonds' is set for its worldwide premiere, and release, on Wednesday of this week (26 September, 2012). It will be the first release from her seventh studio album, the follow up to her 2011 release, Talk That Talk.
Rihanna has recently described the single as 'happy and hippy'. Speaking to iHeartRadio, Rihanna added:"It's laid-back but it's hopeful. It's a record that... gives me such a great feeling when I listen to it. The lyrics are very hopeful and positive, but it's about love and... a little different to what people would expect, I think. "
Revealing: "I'm excited to surprise them sonically."
It has been widely rumoured that UK production stars Burns and Labrinth have worked on Rihanna's new album.
