It seems promotion for Lana Del Rey's highly-anticipated sophomore album, Ultraviolence, has begun in earnest. A giant billboard advertising the singer's second LP has appeared in New York City.
The poster, which reads "ULTRAVIOLENCE" in large red letters, and features a black and white image of Del Rey with a cigarette in her mouth, has appeared on a wall in Brooklyn. It follows the star's announcement that the lead single from Ultraviolence is called 'West Coast'.

Del Rey was captured on film in February telling fans to expect the record on May 1, but has since backtracked on the claims. As Popjustice reports, it's rumoured 'West Coast' will be dropped onto iTunes in the next 24 hours, Beyonce-style. We're more than ready.
