Arctic Monkeys' frontman Alex Turner has been named among the wealthiest musicians in the UK, joining the likes of mega-earners Calvin Harris and Adele on the annual rich list countdown of under 30s musicians.
The festival headliner has placed 14th on the Sunday Times rich list, with mega-earnings of £9million in the past 12 months, boosted greatly by the success of Arctic Monkeys AM album and their headline slot at last summer's Glastonbury festival. However, his earnings paled significantly next to those in the Top Ten, where the likes of Adele and Calvin Harris reign supreme, with earnings of £45m and £30m respectively - despite the fact that Adele has not released new music or toured in the past year. Her 2012 album, 21, continues to shift huge numbers across the globe, however.
These artists and more (including the various members of One Direction and, oddly, Leona Lewis) all make the 2014 Sunday Times under 30s rich list. See the full top ten below.
